Why donate to the Lakeland Concert Band?

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community organization, the Lakeland Concert Band relies upon community donations to continue providing musical entertainment through our performances.

Where does the money go?

Donations made to the Band go toward the Band’s general expenses, such as purchasing new music, performance facility rental, maintenance on band-owned instruments and equipment, insurance, publicity, etc.

Friends of the Lakeland Concert Band are our donors who are greatly appreciated and are recognized in the concert program at each performance. While we published a list of donors on our web page in past years, we no longer do so to protect the privacy of our donors. We decided to change policy due to increasing levels of cybersecurity threats and a desire to minimize exposure of our dear supporters to such threats.
